The Equestrian Club

The Equestrian Club has 44 fixed boxes of m. 3.5 x 3.5 m to ensure maximum comfort for guest horses. Inside each aisle there is a washing area, changing room, toilets, saddlery and storage compartment. Each individual box is equipped with a drain for washing it, an individual lamp to dry the horse, a drinking trough with air-conditioned water, and a compartment for the owner's private objects.

There are also two quarantine boxes for new guests. This will allow for the introduction of new horses after verification of the absence of diseases, to protect all the horses of the club.

Two sand fields of 50 × 70 m and 35x70 m, grass fields, a 6-seater carousel and a 25 × 50 m covered riding school complete the sports facility. All around, a wild and suggestive countryside allows original walks as well as exciting paper or drag chases. Members have access to a club house.

Individual lessons and group lessons given by Federal Instructors will then provide adequate technical support for those who intend to approach or improve the world of horses.

Our 50 × 70 sand court, equipped with lighting and irrigation systems, is the main place where the lessons of our Riding School are held. National show jumping competitions are also held on these fields.

The covered riding arena measures 25 × 50, illuminated and irrigated, has a roof supported by spectacular boomerang beams. To make it harmonious with the surrounding town, the whole roof was covered with ancient tiles.

Surely the most spectacular part of the Sporting facilities is the cross field which covers an area of 220,000 square meters. with varied and mobile paths, from the invitation to CNC1 *, equipped with 3 lakes, several hills and talus, and a hole. For the more adventurous there are also two fords in the Agogna torrent.

Example of civil engineering, the carousel for 6 horses, made with a roof carried by beams without tie rods and covered with ancient tiles and sub-tiles, for a correct setting in the living environment, is equipped with a multiple regulator for speed and direction, irrigation, to avoid that the horses enclosed there can be wrapped in dust, and electrification in the internal panels, to avoid accidents.

The countryside around the Monterosa Sporting Club is, contrary to what one expects, absolutely varied and wild. Robinia, oak and willow forests arise around the Agogna torrent, the border of Sporting, which allow a varied fauna to live in tranquility in an uncontaminated habitat: in fact, you can meet on walks, foxes, fallow deer, buzzards, herons, cormorants, ducks and much more. In this splendid setting, the center organizes historical re-enactments of fox hunting, rigorously simulated!
